A solid offering from Honor: Honor Play 9A

The Honor Play 9A is the latest offering from the house of Honor. It is the successor of last year’s Honor Play 8A with better and faster features to offer than ever.

The smartphone comes with highlighted features like the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 5,000mAh battery, 218GB storage and a lot more.
MediaTek Helio P35 facilitates beautiful, all-screen smartphones with Full HD+ resolution displays and 20:9 ratio. It is powered by octa-core ARM Cortex- A53 operating up to 2.3GHz and IMG PowerVR GR8320 GPU running up to a speed of 680MHz. With its LPDDR3/LPDDR4x memory controller, it enables the devices to meet the market and consumer needs by maintaining a proper balance between its asking price, and performance.

The smartphone is priced at Rs.9,535 in India for 4GB and 64GB storage variant whereas the top-end model of 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 12,720.

The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The screen flaunts an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by the 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor under its hood with 680 MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The smartphone is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Po 5000mAh battery with a 10W charging support, therefore say goodbye to the charging your phone again and again after every few hours. The device is expected to measure 159.07mm x 74.06mm x 9.04mm and weigh 185 grams.

The smartphone is backed by 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage with an expandable storage capacity up to 512GB using a MicroSD card.

It runs Android 10 Magic UI 3.0.1 operating system. It comes with additional features such as 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, USB 2.0, and Radio along with Dual 4G VoLTE.

The brand has refurbished the rear-camera module design, featuring a dual-camera setup with an amalgamation of 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture along with a 2-megapixel depth camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture along with an LED flash employed between both the sensors. The rear camera is placed at the top-left corner of the rear-panel in a rectangular shape. On the front, there is a 8-megapixel camera sensor underneath the waterdrop notch design facilitated for selfies and video calls.

It is a solid phone altogether with a combination of excellent features that cater to every aspect of the users need.
