About Lal Singh Chaddha: Upcoming Movie
Laal Singh Chaddha is the remake of the Oscar-winning American drama named Forrest Gump in the year 1994. This movie in itself was the adaption of Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the identical title.
The film tells the significant occasions of Indian history from the view of Laal Singh Chadha ( played by Aamir Khan), an autistic guy with a wide expressive spectrum.
Some of the significant historic events contained in this screen presentation contain the Emergency, 1983 Cricket World Cup, the Rath Yatra, Operation Blue Star, and the 1999 Kargil War.
Talking about this movie, you should know that Laal Singh Chadha has been shot in more than a hundred spots across the country of India and reportedly has stars like Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo arrival.
Even though the newly liberated trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha looks like a straightforward remake, Forrest Gump was more than a tale of human endurance, determination, innocence and love. It was also around America — with all its difficulties of war, racism, prejudice, and nationalism.
Coming to the trailer, in the almost 3-minute-long trailer, we get a glance at Aamir’s Laal Singh Chadha, an uncomplicated, honest man who was grown on a farm by his doting mother (Mona Singh). We see how a youthful Laal had a disability that needed him to keep leg braces. And then, miraculously, he broke free as his friend exclaimed, “Bhaag Laal bhaag”. Laal rises to be a runner professionally and then enters the Indian Army.
We also catch glances of his camaraderie with Naga Chaitanya’s character and them battling shoulder-to-shoulder in a war. And we further see Kareena Kapoor’s Vimmy, the beloved of Laal’s life — our desi Jenny. He wants to wed her but she does not see them go anywhere. Incorporated with Aamir’s stab at a Punjabi accent, the film scans through a few decades of Indian history, just like the original did with American history.
Laal Singh Chaddha is one of the anticipated movies of the year and will come on August 11 this year. Are you gonna watch it?
