Capture the best shots with the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G
Oppo has always been one of those brands that has been known to pay full attention to their camera set up of the phone irrespective of which price segment of a phone they are. Camera segment has been a major feature that the brand pays attention to in order to offer the best to its users. And it has managed to do so with the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G as well.
Granted, the phone has other value-added features as well, especially in terms of the integrated MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset that is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with packing a 4,350mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charger which takes about 35–40 minutes to charge a completely drained out battery to bring fully charged. Along with these, the camera set up of the phone has also managed to attract a lot of appreciation. The phone is touted as a “camera-centric” phone and in my opinion, it completely deserves to be called so.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G has a quad camera array on the back, featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP mono sensor. On the front, the phone has a 32MP sensor, accommodated on the top-left side in a display punch hole. The primary sensor works well across light conditions. It captures frames with a good detail, and without any visible noise or distortion. In good light conditions, the primary sensor does a good job composing otherwise difficult details like dynamic range, highlights and shadows. The ultra-wide sensor does a good job, too. It manages to straighten the barrel effect and the image quality is crisp and uniform, free of any sort of visible distortion.
The Reno 5 Pro 5G’s front camera is good for selfies but it is not best suited for group selfies because of its narrow field-of-view (FoV). The front camera supports the night mode for lowlight selfies which is always welcomed. Along with these, Oppo has also added a few other camera features for users to make the most out of it. The camera setup is further complemented with features such as auto AI scene detection, colour filters, and extra HD for still photography. And there is a new AI highlight video feature for videos. It improves the dynamic range, color depth and range, and contrast to deliver enhanced video experience irrespective of light conditions.
The camera setup is definitely a segment where Reno 5 Pro 5G shines and if you are an ardent photography enthusiasts, this is the phone for you.
