‘Darlings’ Most Watched Non-English Indian Original Film

Alia Bhatt is wallowing in the triumph of her new release, ‘Darlings’, and to count one more ground for festivity is the fact that the film has now become the most considerable watched non-English Indian original movie.
Netflix India authorized Instagram to share the story, where they noted, “Darlings is the highest viewed non-English Indian original film.”
The film has been watched for a total of 24 million hours. The movie, a black comedy, centers on and follows the lives of 2 women as they uncover courage and love in improbable situations.
Let me tell you that the story of this movie revolves around Badrunissa (Alia Bhatt) falling in love and marrying Hamza (Vijay Varma) who hinges out to be a drunkard who abuses his wife. Her mother Shamshunnisa (Shefali Shah) abides in the same chawl in Byculla and urges her daughter every day to get rid of her harsh husband. But Alia, like numerous women, has still not lost expectancy. She wants to have an infant with her husband, satisfy the dreams she had seen with this man, and keeps looking for ways to improve him.
Moving forward, this movie, which was released on the 5th of August, extended to positive reviews from the analysts and was much admired by the public as well. Actor Vijay Varma, who performed the role of a boozer husband in the film, has also been at receiving praises from the fans.
The film was directed by Jasmeet K Reen. This project is special for actor Alia Bhatt for another reason, and that is that it was co-produced by her production business, Eternal Sunshine Productions, in conjunction with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
