DDLJ is Back!

Bollywood’s King of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan will observe his 57th birthday on the day of 2nd November. And this year, his fanatics are in for a treat!
Known to have lifted the bar of romance elevated with his onscreen buff boy parts, SRK’s most romantic movie is returning to the large screen on his unique day. Take a look at the deets guys!
The movie’s production home, Yash Raj Films, took to its Instagram account to share this wonderful news with the fans. It noted in the caption, “Our favorite love story is coming back to the silver screen. Watch ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ on 2nd November 2022 only in Indian Theatres.”
The movie will be displayed in various PVRs, Inoxmovies, and Cinepolis India across the nation.
King Khan and Kajol have been one of Bollywood’s most loved onscreen couples since the movie’s primary release in the year 1995. The story spins around an Indian brat Raj (SRK), who is living in London, and Simran, who is shown as a compliant, trusting daughter to a culturally-rooted father. And, many dialogues from the movie are famous and used even today.
Now, 27 years later, fans are still enthusiastic to take a trip down memory lane and watch this movie in the theatres again.
DDLJ is regarded as the longest-running movie in the past Indian cinema, as it operated for over 20 years in Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir theatre. Also, it was the highest-grossing Indian movie of 1995. It even booted off the trend of NRI romances in Bollywood movies and enabled cemented Shah Rukh Khan’s lover boy image on the screen.
Apart from SRK and Kajol, this super-duper movie also featured late actor Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Anupam Kher, and Parmeet Sethi in notable roles.
