Ek Villain Returns On Netflix
Netflix released the action thriller movie “Ek Villain Returns’ on its platform on September 9. The news was made on the streaming service’s Twitter feed in India.
The tweet’s caption stated, ‘Double the action, double the thrill. #EkVillainReturns comes on Netflix on September 9th.’
Talking about this movie, Mohit Suri is widely known for pulling off some amazing movies, particularly for the young audience. His movies are created on a steady budget and are box office friendly. Nevertheless, things went slightly higher with this movie “Ek Villain Returns”, resulting in a huge commercial failure. The movie made enough sum for it was not enough to save its fate.
Starring actors like John Abraham, Tara Sutaria, Arjun Kapoor, and Disha Patani, Ek Villain Returns was made at an approx budget of 72 crores. Given the scenario and considering the appeal of the movie, The movie has made around 65 crores and the total looks an upright one when compared to how much-hyped biggies have failed recently.
Not just the weak storyline, but the production method and action choreography glimpse unconvincing as well. The regular car and bike lines that use visual products fail to hand muster. Even the much-anticipated match-up between John and Arjun on a moving train fizzles after the promise.
Shraddha Kapoor is missed, as Tara only glimmers in the lighter moments. When things get profound, she overlooks the character’s course. Meanwhile, Disha fails to internalize the formidable role and focuses on giving fitness purposes instead.
I do not think that this movie did justice to its prequel.
