Girls Education
In the discourse around Education, A girls education has received separate attention and strategic importance worldwide. Educating girls is pivotal to the development of society. Despite many global declarations and development goals, and significant efforts by the international community, gender disparity in education continues to exist.
There was a time when people thought that it was not necessary to educate girls. Now we have begun to realize that girls ‟education is essential”.
The modern age is the age of awakening of girls. They are trying to compete with men in all spheres of life. Many people oppose girls education.
They say that the proper sphere of girls is the home. So, they argue that the money spent on girls education is wasted. This view is wrong because girls education can bring about a silent revolution in society. There are several advantages of girls education. Growing up educated girls can play an important role in the development of their country.
They can share the burden of men in the different walks of life. When girls are well-educated, not forced to marry during childhood, they will be able to serve society as writers, educators, teachers, lawyers, doctors, administrators, politicians, scientists, and much more. They can work at banks, hospitals, government offices and large businesses. Women education is essential for the appropriate social and economic development of the country. Both men and women run parallel like two wheels in every society. Hence, both are significant components of growth and development in the country.
Thus, both require equal opportunity when it comes to education. Girl education in India is required for the future of the country as women are the primary teachers of their kids who are the future of the nation. Uneducated women cannot dynamically contribute to managing the family and taking proper care of the children and thus resulting in a weak future generation. Education provides relevant knowledge and skills for girls to better understand and deal with life challenges. Education involves social interaction, which not only allows girls to feel that they are not alone, but also to feel well-supported by their peers and teachers/educators. Educated girls tend to marry at an appropriate age, eventually decreasing the number of child marriages and health problems. With increased health education, they can take better care of their families health and well-being. Educated girls tend to become role models and inspire others to pursue education. Education gives them the ability to positively influence their lives and the lives of their families and wider communities.
In summary, educating girls is critical for the development of communities and broadly for society as a whole.
