In my opinion, the concept of NATO is flawed. It was created by the USA to counter USSR. USSR disintegrated but to maintain its dominance the USA used NATO as a weapon and has allowed joining of nations till now.

If Ukraine became ineligible for NATO since 2014 i.e after Russia captured Crimea then why President Zelenskyy continued to give statements regarding the joining of NATO in 2021, while the Western Nations continued to show support in terms of allowing Ukraine to join NATO. Even after the start of military operations by Russia, Ukraine passed a special resolution to join NATO on emergency basis which was again rejected by the organization.

Coming to India - Do you really think we need direct support like Ukraine to counter China? This is not 1962. India's mighty military is capable enough to fight against any hostile situation. Seems like you haven't gone through the Galwan clash, Doklam Standoff, and the recent Arunachal clash news. Please check the news. Even in 1971 war, our military was prepared to fight alone against USA & UK along with Pakistan.

India's foreign minister Jaishanker sir had rightly said "Europe needs to grow out of the mindset that Europe's problems are World's problems whereas World's problems are not Europe's problems". The whole asia is aware of what US & Western allies did in Afghanistan. How they left leaving back advanced arms and machineries which are now in the hands of Taliban. Don't lecture us when you as a nation (if you are from US & Western allies nation) itself is standing on the dead bodies of millions of innocent people.
