Absolutely YES. Redmi Note 9 smartphone is the most recently launched smartphone by Xiaomi; on 30th April 2020. The phone comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The Redmi Note 9 comes with a price tag of Rs.14,999, therefore not too pricey.

Coming to the question at importance here. Is Redmi Note 9 a gaming smartphone? As mentioned before, it definitely is, thanks to the powerful gaming processor of MediaTek; Helio G85. The new Redmi Note 9 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor. Let’s look into a few details of the processor here.

It comes with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz and six Cortex A55 operating at up to 1.8GHz. It packs an Arm Mali-G52 GPU with a peak of 1GHz.
