Lava Z series phones in India
Lava has not been in the news for quite a while now, and it’s been a while we have seen phones launching under the brand name. However, this time around, the company came, and it came with four new phones to offer. The specs and the features of all the four new budget segment smartphones are really interesting and decent considering they are all budget segment smartphones therefore they surely come as good options for all especially for all the budget buyers.
The four new smartphones come under the Z series smartphones namely, Lava Z1, Lava Z2, Lava Z4 and Lava Z6. Personally, I like the Z6 variant of the series. It is not too expensive, and I think the features of the phone justify the price of it quite well. Anyhow, let’s take a look at the features and the specifications of all the four phones that would further help us make an informed decision about which phone to choose.
Lava Z1- This is the most entry-level smartphone of the series. It flaunts a 5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by MediaTek Helio A20 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage and a 3,100mAh battery. The phone flaunts a 5-megapixel selfie camera as well as rear camera and is priced at Rs.5,499. Based on the price, it is clear that the Lava Z1 as a good option for those who wishes to upgrade from their feature phone to a smartphone. The Lava Z1 also comes with a Military Grade certificate to ensure the build quality.

It comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging priced at Rs.6,999. It is considerably a higher variant than the Lava Z1.
Lava Z4- This phone is also powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display. For optics, it houses a 13-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel AI depth sensor and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera also and the phone ships with Android 10 Go priced at Rs.8,999.
Lava Z6- The features and the specifications of the Lava Z6 is almost similar to the Z4, though it comes with 6GB RAM instead of 4GB. This variant is priced at Rs.9,999.
Along with the four new smartphones, lava has also introduced the My Z initiative that enables the users to customize their phone storage, the RAM options, front camera, rear camera and the color options too. Users can choose up to 128GB storage option or even up to 6GB of RAM on their Lava Z2 phone of course against some extra cash.
Overall, the Z smartphones by Lava are great additions to the budget segment and even with such affordable price, the brand has made sure to not compromise on the features and the specifications of the same.
