Talking about the launch, MediaTek has unveiled this Dimensity 1080, the new chipset in the organization’s popular Dimensity portfolio for 5G devices. This new 5G processor presents a nice arrangement bump and very upgraded camera components compared to its precursor, the Dimensity 920.

The chipset’s 6nm creation delivers a host of power-savings advantages that provides longer battery life.
With the support for a 200-MP primary camera and MediaTek’s Imagiq image signal processor (ISP), this new Dimensity 1080 packs all the latest camera features users need to take super high-quality photos and videos. Plus, the chipset incorporates a hardware-accelerated HDR video recording engine to process up to 4K resolution, delivering the streamer generation’s foremost video capture developments in all lighting circumstances.
Gamers can take benefit of the Dimensity 1080’s HyperEngine 3.0 gaming enhancements for snappy implementation and connectivity, along with the processor’s incorporated AI processing unit 3.0 (APU 3.0) for optimal power efficiency. Further, the Dimensity 1080 chipset sustains sub-6GHz 5G networks and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity so that gamers can appreciate uninterrupted, powerful gaming wherever they go.
