MINIMALIST LIVING
Recently, I have gotten into checking out articles and especially youtube videos about minimalist living and I have gotten hooked onto it. With everything that is going around us since the past few years now, one thing that many of us must have realised is the fact that we can indeed live off of the most minimal resources that are at our disposal.
It is definitely a sort of personal development when we learn to live with the leat amount of resources that are available. It is an ongoing journey of opening yourself up to new ways of thriving. That said, with all the challenges and changes you experience in life, the last thing you want to do is complicate the personal growth process.
Few of the best ways to continue this necessity of ours into a habit of ours would be to;
Eliminate clutter
Work on decluttering both your physical and mental clutter that is taking up space. What are the unnecessary things, thoughts, activities, and people you have in your life right now? It’s time to take inventory and keep only the essentials. This is an essential pillar of minimalist living.
Indulge in simple pleasure
Life feels richer when you stop to appreciate the little things. What you take for granted are likely to be the very things that add happiness to your life. Indulge in them often.
Build a minimalist wardrobe
Have you come across those pictures of Mark Zuckerberg wearing the same type of clothes everyday? He does so on purpose because it eases decision-making and allows you to efficiently allocate your resources (time, energy, money) to more pressing matters. One of the best ways to build an effortless style is via a minimalist wardrobe.
Simple living can seem easy at times, but it takes focus, dedication and thoughtfulness. Examining all the aspects of your life and finding places where you can apply minimalism principles will get easy over time.
