New budget smartphone on the block. Infinix Smart 4 Plus launched!
Infinix launched its latest budget segment smartphone; Infinix Smart 4 Plus on the 21st July 2020. One of the claims of the CEO of the company, and I quote was that “The new Infinix Smart 4 Plus would resonate with all the people for whom WFH (Work from Home) was the “new normal”. The first sale of the newly launched Infinix Smart 4 Plus will start on the 28th July 2020 at 12pm (noon) via Flipkart.
Let’s look into the features and the specifications of the phone;
DISPLAY AND PRICE: The price of the Infinix Smart 4 Plus is set at Rs.7,999, which makes it the latest budget segment smartphone to be launched. It has never been as good as the present times for consumers who are looking for affordable and powerful smartphones in a budget. Owing to the ever-increasing demands, we now have options pouring in from all companies. The smartphone features a 6.82-inch HD+ (720 X 1,640 pixels) IPS display with 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and 20:5:9 aspect ratio.
PROCESSOR: The Infinix Smart 4 Plus is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. MediaTek Helio A25 is an entry-level ARM SoC manufactures in a 12nm FinFET process and is equipped with 8 ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores divided in two clusters. A performance cluster with 4 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz and an efficient cluster clocked at up to 1.5GHz.
OPTICS: This smartphone flaunts a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a depth sensor. The rear camera also supports features such as Auto Scene detection, AI HDR, AI 3D Beauty, Panorama, and AR Animoji. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera for those amazing selfies and video calls.
BATTERY AND STORAGE: The phone is available in a sole variant of 3GB + 32GB storage. The 32GB onboard storage can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 256GB. As far as the battery of the phone is concerned, it comes packed with a massive 6000mAh battery, which as per claims can offer 23 hours of video playback and 38 hours of 4G talk-time on a single charge.
CONNECTIVITY AND SENSORS: The phone includes dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and USB port. A few of the sensors included on the phone are; rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, G-sensor, gyroscope, e-compass, and proximity.
COLOR OPTIONS: There are three color variants available for this phone; Midnight Black, Ocean Wave and Violet.
