Oppo A12s: All we know about the new Oppo smartphone!
Oppo has announced another smartphone; Oppo A12s right after a few months of the Oppo A12 launch. However, it has launched only in Cambodia as of now. The new smartphone seems like an offshoot of the Oppo A12 and it comes with some reliable and impressive features.
Before we move on to looking at the features of the phone in detail, the Oppo A12s is priced at $129 which when converted would come to be around Rs.9700. Therefore, this smartphone is a budget segment smartphone. The company recently took to Cambodia Facebook page to announce the arrival of the Oppo A12s.
Moving on the features of the phone, Oppo A12s flaunts a 6.2-inch HD+ with 720 x 1520 pixels. It is a waterdrop-notch display and 88.3 percent screen-to-body ratios. The phone is powered by powerful MediaTek Helio P35 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Helio P35 creates advanced dual-camera smartphones, AI-enhancements, and rich connectivity that it comes with. MediaTek developed the P35 chip with Power VR GE8320 graphics processor, which enables power-efficient and flexible solution for all forms of multimedia processing including 3D and 2D graphics rendering.
We have witnessed the performance of this particular chipset in many other devices prior to the Oppo A12s, like the Moto G8 Power Lite, Oppo A31, Vivo Y30, the list can go on and on. Therefore, there are no doubts that MediaTek Helio P35 is a powerful and extremely power-efficient and it is a good addition to this new budget smartphone.
Oppo has also equipped the phone to provide up to 32GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. As far as the optics of the phone are concerned, Oppo A12s has a dual rear camera setup that flaunts a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The phone also comes with a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front for those amazing selfies and video calls.
There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back of the Oppo A12s and the budget smartphone also flaunts Face Unlock. Just like Oppo A12, Oppo A12s also comes equipped with a 4,230mAh battery. There will be two color variants available for the Oppo A12s; Light Blue and Light Silver.
