PlayStation 5 is available in two variants PlayStation 5 with disk drive and a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition without a disk drive. In a gameplay presentation, Sony has put on the next-gen showcase. And after that many PS5 games are revealed like FIFA 21 and Madden 21. The PS5 costs Rs. 49,990 while the PS5 Digital Edition is priced at Rs. 39,990. The games for the PS5 starts at Rs. 3,999.

The “majority of the 4,000 PS4 titles” will work, thanks to PS5’s backwards compatibility. That’s all well and good, but let’s face it, nobody buys a console at launch to play last-gen games. You buy it for what’s new. Many of the PS5 games announced so far don’t have specific release dates yet, meaning some of them could come out this year.

Sony has also given us a few looks now at loads of games coming for its new console. A few of the games that are sure to be out soon on PS5 are;

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:

A new Assassin’s Creed adventure is officially on the horizon, and this time it will transport us back to the Dark Ages as Viking assassin Eivor. Building on the RPG elements introduced by Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, it will also offer a dialogue option, character customization such as tattoos and hairstyles, and all manner of weapons to try out.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales:

Miles Morales is swinging his way onto the PS5 in a new Spider-Man adventure. While there was initially some confusion surrounding whether Miles would be featured in an expanded remaster of the 2018 release, Insomniac confirmed Miles Morales will be a standalone game.

Devil May Cry: Special Edition:

Dante and Nero are landing on the PS5 for the launch date window of the console this November. With the special edition, you can expect to dive into the hack and slash action with upgraded next-gen graphics that make the most ray tracing architecture to render DMC 5 with more realistic lighting and reflections.

GodFall:

Gearbox has been one of the first developers to officially announce an upcoming PS5 game, and it will arrive in the form of Godfall. Apparently building on Gearbox’s reputation with Borderlands (and most recently Borderlands 3), this is a “loot-slasher’, third-person action RPG built around co-operative gameplay — although one can play solo too.

Marvel’s Avenger:

Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that Marvel’s Avengers will be available as a launch title for PS5 and Xbox Series X. It will take full advantage of the new hardware with improved performance, resolution and visual features which simply aren’t possible on older consoles. There will be a solo campaign and missions where you can team up with friends to take on large stages and even larger boss battles.

The above mentioned games are just the top of my list. These are just a few of the games that were confirmed, however they don’t even scratch the tip of the iceberg. There are many more such exciting games that have been confirmed by the company for all the gamers out there to enjoy.
