Raksha Bandhan vs Laal Singh Chaddha!

Movies of 2 outstanding celebrities of Bollywood — Akshay Kumar and Amir Khan will strike the silver screens on the same day, i.e. August 11 at the festival of Rakhi. The two films are — Laal Singh Chaddha starring Aamir Khan and the other one is Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan.

Film Trade Critic, Sumit Kadel tweeted that both films cater to family audiences. “The minimum combined biz of #RakshaBandhan & #LaalSinghChaddha on 11th August would be ₹ 22–25 cr nett. Both films are driven by big stars and cater to family audiences across territories..” Sumit Kadel said on Twitter.
Talking about both movies, Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an authorized remake of `Forrest Gump`, is all set to debut in theatres. Laal Singh Chaddha, the movie, stars Aamir in the supposed character. It also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni.
Next, is the Akshay Kumar starrer `Raksha Bandhan`. which is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and also Viacom18 Studios. It is directed by Aanand L Rai and is a comedy-drama. It also features Bhumi Pednekar, Sahejmeen Kaur, Sadia Khateeb, Smrithi Srikanth and Deepika Khanna.
During a discussion with news agency IANS, Akshay Kumar stated that he does not know how the movie would do at the box office, but is sure that it will leave an impression in the audience`s minds. The movie is an emotive tale of a brother’s love for his four sisters and his responsibilities towards them.
