Realme has launched the X7 5G phone in China last year in September and since then it has been a long wait for it to launch in India as well. Realme finally took the plunge and launched the phone in India today. Even though the specifications and the features were almost out even before the launch of the phone, it is now official.

Realme X7 5G is a power-packed smartphone that screams power and efficiency in every single aspect. Let’s take a quick look into the same.

Design and display:

The device will sport a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an under-display fingerprint reader for secure authentication of biometric data which is never not needed. It has an edge-to-edge screen with a punch-hole cut-out and a significant bottom bezel. On the rear, there is a quad-camera setup.

Camera Optics:

As mentioned before, on the rear of the phone, it flaunts a quad-camera setup comprising a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.3) ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Meanwhile, on the front, there should be a single 16MP (f/2.5) selfie snapper.

Processor:

The Realme X7 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The integration of the Dimensity 800U chipset is definitely the most dominant features of the phone. A lot is determined by the integrated processor of a phone, and Realme has chosen well in this aspect.

It has an octa-core, dual-cluster design (2+6). There are 2 x high-performance Cortex-A76 cores running @2.4GHz and 6 x power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores running @2.0GHz. it’s still the mid-performance ARM Mali-G57 but instead of 4 cores, it’s reduced to 3 cores only. This will be suitable for good gaming. The chipset is integrated with technologies such as the UltraSave along with the HyperEngine 2.0 gaming technology, which together ensures the best of gaming experience while keeping the battery drain to a minimum.

Connectivity and Battery:

The device will run on Android 10-based Realme UI and shall pack a 4,310mAh battery with 50W fast-charging support. It comes with the support for connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G network, and a Type-C port.

Based on the features and the specifications of the phone, there is no doubt this is a solid and powerful addition to the 5G segment. Not just look and design, but Realme has ensured to offer a very powerful 5G phone for all.
