The Redmi Note 10S launched in India on 13th May 2020. The phone flaunts an impressive set of features and specs. The Redmi Note 10S is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The phone has been launched in three different colors for the users to choose from. It was launched in Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black colours.
For the processor of the phone, it is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. The MediaTek Helio G95 has the same CPU and fabrication process like that of the Helio G90T. The processor has the same LPP 12nm fabrication processor along with a 2+6 distribution; there are two performance cores and six efficiency cores (2x Cortex-A76 cores @ 2.05GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores @ 2.0GHz) just like the Helio G90T and the clock speed also being the same. Even though the clock speed and the cores technology is exactly like that of the Helio G90T, the company has claimed a 5% better CPU score in the AnTuTu scores.
Coming to the GPU performance, it comes with Arm Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. The clock speed is increased to 900Mhz whereas it is just 820MHz in the Helio G90T. When compared, it has a better and 8% improved GPU score in the Manhatten 3.0 benchmarks. For connectivity, it includes CAT-12 4G LTE world mode modem, that supports dual 4G VoLTE and 4G data, which supports speeds up to 600Mbps download and 150Mbps upload.
Helio G95 supports 64MP primary sensor with a quad camera setup. While on the camera specs, it offers LPDDR4x memory support that can handle up to 10GB RAM. Looking at the AnTuTu scores, Helio G95 has a score of 30000 points which is really impressive. A few of the technologies of MediaTek that have been equipped in the chipset are Tiny Sensor Hub, CorePilot, NeuroPilot, Pump Express. However, personally for me the best part of the Helio G90T is the gaming enhancement and it is called MediaTek HyperEngine. This was seen for the very first time in the Helio G90T chipset itself and this turned out to set the bar for gaming chipsets extremely high.
