The brand Redmi has ultimately launched its 1st tablet in India — the Redmi Pad. This newly-launched tablet by Redmi comes with a 10.61-inches LCD and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. Furthermore, it also comes equipped with a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. Let us discuss this tablet in detail!
The 3GB of RAM + 64GB of storage variant of this Redmi tablet comes at a price of ₹14,999. On the other hand, the 4GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹17,999 and the 6GB + 128GB model comes at ₹19,999. In my opinion, this Redmi Pad is worth a shot as it comes with various features!
To begin with, this Redmi Pad comes with a 10.61-inch 10-bit LCD screen display with 2K resolution and also a refresh rate of 90Hz. Further, it is said to cover 70% of the NTSC color gamut. The screen has a peak brightness of 400nits. And, it arrives with in-built SGS eye safety and is TUV Rheinland-approved.
The tablet further features the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset along with the ARM Mali G57 MC2. This processor brings 4G gaming smartphones into the next generation.

Built on the highly efficient TSMC N6 chip production process, this chipset enables excellent gaming all day, plus great cameras, quick displays, smooth streaming, and dedicated global connectivity. The device also comes in 3GB/4GB/6GB prospects with LPDDR4x RAM. It supports 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
When it comes to photography, this Redmi Pad comes with an 8-MP back camera that is competent for recording videos in FHD resolution. At the front of it, this tablet comes with an 8-MP camera with FocusFrame support for video chats.
As for the Operating System, this Redmi Pad works on Android 12 with MIUI 13 for Pad out of the box. The table is further set to acquire 2 Android and MIUI updates as well as 3 years of security updates. You should know that the device also packs an 8,000mAh battery pack with 18W speedy charging support. As an added perk, Redmi is providing a free YouTube Premium subscription for 2 months.
