Remake Of “The Intern”

Deepika Padukone has turned producer with her movie ‘Chhapaak’ and soon revealed yet another production experience with the Hindi remake of a Hollywood hit ‘The Intern’. She has revealed the details about the movie in the year 2020 and shared, “‘The Intern’ is an intimate, relationship-driven film, set in and around the workplace; a story that I believe is very relevant to the present-day social and cultural environment. I have been looking for a light, breezy comedy-drama and this story fits in seamlessly. I cannot wait to begin this journey.”
Talking more about this upcoming movie, we will see Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan sharing big-screen space once again after their movie, Piku. The movie was originally reported with Deepika and late actor Rishi Kapoor in the key roles.
By sharing a poster that featured the silhouettes of Padukone and Big B, Deepika noted that she is celebrated to be teaming once again with her most ‘special co-star’ Amitabh Bachchan. The text reads, “What an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-stars again!💛 Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern.”
Let me tell you that “The Intern” is a Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie of the exact name which starred Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro in the principal parts. The 2015 film, directed by Nancy Meyers, had largely accepted positive reviews upon its departure. Now it remains to be seen whether Senior Bachchan and Deepika Padukone will be capable to recreate the enchantment of the original.
