The 2.2GHz however has been made possible only on two cores — the duo-core Cortex-A75 chipsets — as 6 cores get a 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 chipsets; and if you ask me I think this was a very wise decision.

Together, all of these are controlled by MediaTek CorePilot which is responsible for maintaining a consistent and reliable performance regardless of how long the user is in-game.
