Tecno Spark 8T: Features & Specifications

Tecno is a very well-known brand and it is mainly known for offering many impressive and powerful smartphones in the recent past. The brand has once again launched another impressive smartphone in the budget segment namely, the Tecno spark 8T.

The new smartphone comes with upgrades over the vanilla Tecno Spark 8 that went live in the country in September this year. In terms of specifications, the new handset offers an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset under the hood, dual rear cameras headlined by the 50-megapixel sensor and 5,000mAh battery. The new Tecno phone comes in four different colour options as well.

Let’s take a look at the features of the phone in a little more detail:

DISPLAY: The smartphone is reported to feature a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,408 pixels) display with a pixel density of 401ppi and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The display also houses an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

PROCESSOR: The smartphone will sport the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC which is a decent entry-level gaming processor. If you are a gamer who enjoys normal gaming once in a while, this will be a good phone option for you.

CAMERA: Tecno Spark 8T gets a 50MP (f/1.6) primary camera and there will be a secondary camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera will get autofocus, LED flash and is likely to use some form of AI to aid image quality. The front camera unit is rumoured to be an 8MP (f/2.0) shooter.

BATTERY: Tecno Spark 8T will also be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and the company is touting 38 days of standby time and up to 11 hours of video playback on the smartphone.

COLOURS: The Tecno Spark 8T will come in four colourways — Atlantic Blue, Cocoa Gold, Iris Purple, and Turquoise Cyan.

PRICE: Tecno Spark 8T price in India has been set at Rs. 8,999 for the lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
