Things you must know about Oppo A31

Oppo has come up with the very new Oppo A31 smartphone that will be a great new addition to the mid-range A-series lineup of their smartphones. The new smartphone has recently targeted Indonesian markets and situated itself in a lower mid-range price point. Notably, the newly launched Oppo A31 is different from the Oppo A31 that was launched back in 2015.

Following are a few detailed pointers to get to know them all-new Oppo A31-

The new Oppo A31 showcases a 6.5-inch display that has an 83 percent screen-to-body ratio, an aspect ratio of 20:9, HD+ (1,600x720p) resolution. In terms of dimensions, it measures 163.9x75.5x8.3mm while the weight of the phone is 180 grams only. and on the other hand, Android 9 Pie-based Color OS 6.1 takes care of the software side of the things. The front side of the phone is of glass while the back is made of plastic and the front panel of the phone is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch protection purposes.

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset, sustained by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, however, one can expand further memory up to 512GB via MicroSD card.

Oppo A31 comes with a 4,230mAh battery under its hood that sadly, doesn’t support any fast charging technology. For security purposes, the device has the fingerprint sensor mounted at the backside of the device. There is a power button on the right side of the phone while the volume keys are on the left side of the device along with the dual SIM slot. The bottom of the phone holds a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port, a microphone speaker and a speaker grille.

The Oppo A31 also offers a mode for a smooth gaming experience.

Coming onto one of the features that is considered as a very important specification of a phone; Camera. Oppo A31 comes with its triple camera cluster at the backside that houses a 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF; A 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture for portrait shot while also supporting bokeh effect technology. The back camera of the device records videos at 1080p resolution while the front camera is housed in a waterdrop-style notch which has an 8-megapixel image sensor for video calls and selfies.
