Realme 6 comes flaunting a new Comet design rather than the Sunrise design seen on its lower-cost models. The smartphone has an inclined finish with streaks running down the back converging at the bottom center where the charging port is. The device sports a 6.5-inch display and a hole-punch which isn’t very common with phones that are available at this price range. Realme 6 comes is available in three variants: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage priced at Rs. 12,999; 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage for Rs. 14,999 and 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage for Rs, 15,999.

This device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that is sited on the right side of the smartphone. The phone is a bit thick at 9.6mm and packs in a 4,300mAh battery and weighs around 191 grams. The USB Type-C standard is a newly added feature to the device. Alongside the Type-C port are the 3.5mm headphone and the loudspeaker grille. The device comes with a Full HD + Display which has a 90Hz refresh rate that helps the smartphone deliver an uninterrupted experience to the user.

Realme 6 is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T. The processor has two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05GHz and six cores clocked at 2.0GHz.

There a few changes made to the device with regards to the software in comparison with the earlier versions. The phone rides smoothly during small and medium level graphic-intensive games and with high-level graphics, the smartphone defaults to the High settings with graphics set to HD and frame rate set to high without any glitch in the gaming experience.

The company no longer continues to ship ColorOS on its smartphones; instead, there is Realme UI. The new Realme UI runs Android 10 on the Realme 6. Realme UI also exhibits features such as Digital Wellbeing, Focus Mode, Dark Mode, and Riding Mode among others.

Realme has delivered an impressive smartphone at a reasonable price with the Realme 6. The device embodies a powerful processor, delivers good battery life and also comes with a 30W fast charger in the box that does not take more than 55 mins to charge up the device up to 100%. This smartphone proves to be a value-for-money device priced at a reasonable range along with all the necessary features that cater to the needs of the masses leaving no stone unturned.
