Vivo Y15c: A New Player With MediaTek Helio

As per the news, the brand Vivo has launched a new Y15c smartphone. This smartphone has been found in a budget segment. The company, Vivo has not released the pricing and availability of the device. But we know that it comes in 2 different colors- Mystic Blue and Wave Green.

Let us take a look at its features and specs.

The Y15C by Vivo arrives with a 6.51-inches HD plus screen display with 720 × 1600 pixel resolution. The panel also has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and also a 60Hz refresh rate.

Further, talking about the performance of this smartphone, the smartphone operates on a Funtouch OS 12 which is based on Android 12 out of the box. Also, under the panel, this smartphone Y15c comes fitted with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. And, as far as I know, this processor is a capable and potent one. This helio P35 processor further comes with a MediaTek CorePilot technology that can get the balance power consumption and its performance, hence extending the battery life of the device and bringing the consumers a continuous and stable experience.

Also, this chip supports many AI artificial intelligence application features, such as Face ID, smart photo album and further single-lens/dual-lens depth-of-field, bringing a smarter experience to smartphone users.

Next, coming to the battery life, this smartphone by Vivo comes with a 5000mAh battery backup with a 10W charging support via a micro-USB port.

Talking about the camera structure, this smartphone supports a dual-camera structure which includes a 13-mp AI back sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 2-mp lens with an f/2.4 macro lens. Moreover, there is an 8MP front-facing lens for selfies. I think there are several modes as well for making the pictures more alive.

Talking about some additional things, this smartphone Y15c comes with 3GB RAM, and 64GB of storage which is expandable through a microSD card slot up to 1TB. The smartphone also arrives with a side-mounted fingerprint lens for security. And, it features face recognition as well. I think it is a nice smartphone and going to be available at around Rs. 10k, as per the sources. So, what are your thoughts about this?
