Vivo launched the Y30 on 9th May 2020. The price of the Vivo Y30 in India is capped at Rs.14,990. For the price of the phone, it is surely packed with a good set of features making it worth every penny.

The phone comes with an impressive set of features with a 6.47-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1560 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The new smartphone is powered by a powerful MediaTek Helio P35 processor with 8GB of RAM. It runs Android 10 and is powered by a massive 5000mAh non-removable battery. There are two color variants available for the Vivo Y30 smartphone; Dazzle Blue and Moonlight White.

The Vivo Y30 runs Funtouch OS based Android 10 and comes packed with 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Vivo Y30 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that supports Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. As far as the dimensions of the phone is concerned, it measures 162.04 x 76.46 x 9.11mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 197.00 grams.

The MediaTek Helio P35 is a mainstream ARM SoC for smartphones that integrates eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores in two clusters. The four performance cores clock up to 2.3GHz. Helio P35 creates advanced dual-camera smartphones, AI-enhancements, and rich connectivity that it comes with. MediaTek developed the P35 chip with Power VR GE8320 graphics processor, which enables power-efficient and flexible solution for all forms of multimedia processing including 3D and 2D graphics rendering.

As far as the camera configuration of the phone is concerned, it flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture + 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture + 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture + 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has auto focus support as well. On the front, it flaunts an 8-megapixel camera for those amazing selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options that are included on the Vivo Y30 include Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, USB OTG, Bluetooth v5.00, FM radio, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). A few of the sensors included on the Vivo Y30 are; Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and fingerprint sensor. The Vivo Y30 supports face unlock as well.

For a mid-range smartphone, in my opinion Vivo Y30 is undoubtedly a solid device and a good option for anyone looking for a powerful smartphone with reliable and efficient features.
