Vivo launched the Y53s in two variants. One is a 5G variant and the other one is a 4G phone. The 4G variant of the phone comes with the Mediatek Helio G80 gaming processor and this is definitely a good and powerful gaming processor that ensures a lag free and steady gaming performance. We have seen smartphones launched with the same Gaming chipset before and in my opinion, the Mediatek Helio G series chipsets are pretty powerful and efficient therefore Vivo, too, has made a good choice in terms of integrating the Helio G80 chipset at the core of this phone.

This chipset is equipped with special gaming specs like the HyperEngine gaming technology that offers immersive and fluid gaming support with enhanced capabilities. Along with the gaming processor, the phone is further integrated with other important features that further enhances the overall performance of the phone. The phone is powered by Mediatek Helio G80 gaming processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Vivo Y53s runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The Vivo Y53s supports proprietary fast charging.

The smartphone has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p display resolution. The smartphone also contains 84.2% screen-to-body ratio and 20:9 as the display aspect ratio. Besides, there is a water drop notch in front to house the front camera. This is a pretty good addition to the phone

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y53s on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture.

Based on the overall specs sheet of the phone, there is no doubt that the Vivo Y33s is indeed a powerful and affordable option for a gaming phone.
