Welcome the Sweet iPhone Home Button!

The 2020 iPhone SE has updated the internals, while storing the familiar and trusted form factor of the iPhone 6 through iPhone 8. Let’s dig a little deeper into the specifications of this new device to decide if it is worth the money or not.

It has a bright 4.7-inch Retina display, for those who prefers small sized phones and was hoping for Apple to bring back something like this can finally rejoice. It comes with a 12MP camera with Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting for the back camera and the Facetime camera, of course. The 4K video support includes extended dynamic range for better highlights and contrast and you also get the feature of turning a snapshot into a video with QuickTake. QuickTake is Apple’s latest camera feature. iPhone SE 2020 has a featured forehead and chin; it has got a bezel on top and bottom, it is not an edge-to-edge screen.

iPhone SE (2020) is equipped with Apple’s latest A13 bionic chip with a third-generation Neural Engine. It is water-resistant up to one meter for 30 minutes, which is a great news for obvious reasons. It supports wireless charging and fast charging with an 18-watt plug, and last but not the least, it has got an ever-loved Home button that many of us missed. iPhone SE has some essential updates including support for dual-SIM. It has portrait mode and Portrait lighting built-in, something that no other Home button iPhone has ever had. It also has Haptic Touch instead of 3D Touch.

Storage options featured starts at 64GB and double to 128GB. It comes in three color variants- White, Product Red and Black. The iPhone SE (2020) is nearly identical to the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 in height, depth, weight.

The camera configuration is in the exact same spot with the Apple logo is slightly lower on the 2020 iPhone SE. The backside of the iPhone SE has the glass and aluminum design of the iPhone 8, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11. It has the same size bezel as its predecessors from the iPhone 6 through the iPhone 8 with a Touch ID enabled Home button at the bottom center of the screen. It also displays True Tone display.

iPhone SE is fitted with a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, digital zoom up to 5x and True Tone flash. The 2020 iPhone has been restructured with SmartHDR for photos and Portrait Mode with portrait lighting (with Natural, Studio Contour, Stage Mono, and High Key Mono effects), and again, it comes with the sweet old Home Button.
