MediaTek has launched its latest Genio 700 processor to power IoT, AI, and various smart home appliances. Today, we are increasingly dependent on AI and it is expected that the future will belong to one that will be technologically advanced which can be achieved only with the help of artificial intelligence.

Advanced nations are working on building advanced AI systems in war mode so that they remain in the leading position. India too has made rapid changes in the technological aspect in fields like the military, space, finance, education, and many others. The UPI in the finance sector has played a key role in changing the payment habit of Indians. For the military, the armed forces are working on building innovative technologies which can be deployed in the border areas to keep track of the activities of transgressors. In education, online education has seen a massive jump due to which demand for smart devices has increased drastically.

Smart homes and appliances involve IoT, which are powered with chipsets that are really costly which in turn increased the overall cost of the involved devices.

MediaTek has launched its latest Genio 700 Processor, which is expected to be really powerful and affordable. The chipset is capable of supporting deep learning, neural network acceleration, and computer vision combined with cameras up to 32MP resolution.

The Genio 700 processor houses an octa-core CPU capable of achieving speeds of 2.2GHz. Since it has been built using the 6nm production architecture the processor optimizes the power usage which indeed helps in extending the device’s battery power.

For connectivity, the chipset supports a variety of connectivities like Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, 5G module options, and Bluetooth. With so many options you can easily connect your device which will support FHD recording at 4K quality.

The chipset is good with Android, Yocto Linux, Ubuntu, and Neuro Pilot SDK. Since the chipset houses all the necessary advanced qualities, it is expected to bring an incredible transformation in the IoT and AI fields.

You can expect the processor to power devices making them affordable and trustworthy and to be available by mid of this year. Excited, isn’t it?
